I have a hearing loss for many years. They have affected my quality of life and I decided to wear hearing aids. Unfortunately the aids did not help me very much. I have a hearing loss on my left ear since young. I have been ignoring the issue until I start to hear ringing in my ears a few months ago. I have not been able to hear properly in a meeting and caused my productivity to decrease. I also cannot converse with my family effectively when travelling in our car. My daughter calls me mommy for the first time!
My daughter Verrel is 2 years old. She is a very adorable and happy child. She enjoys playing with her elder sister but we noticed something was not quite right when she was not progressing with her learning to speak. We went to the hospital to seek advice. The hospital tested Verrel’s hearing and confirmed she has severe hearing losses on both ears. She needs hearing aids. As her parents, we decided to give her the best help available within our means.
